They think up some great ideas and if they are really good they can manifest them. However as a leader you need to inspire other people and help them put their ideas into action. A true leader sees the vision and inspires you to go for your goal and then lead you to it until you have manifested it.
But who you really have to lead is yourself, you have to inspire yourself and put the things into practice that you are really passionate about and can keep on being inspired about. It has to come from the heart and no matter how small it is, tune into it and allow it to grow. If you fall down, realize you are not falling but practicing walking.
